Principal Sales Engineer

Overview:

The Principal Sales Engineer will lead the technical pre-sales motion for hyperscalers and major cloud and silicon ecosystem customers.

You will shape technically complex, high-value opportunities involving capacity, AI infrastructure, performance, networking, storage and platform integration.

This is a senior individual contributor role and not a people-management position.

G42 Americas is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. We are in the formative stage of building the company, its operating rhythms and culture, and we value meaningful time together in person. The role will require comfort operating across the US and other global markets as G42 Americas scales its AI infrastructure platform and commercial presence.

We are open to candidates located anywhere across the West Coast.

Responsibilities:

Technical Discovery and Qualification

• Partner with account leaders to qualify and shape strategic hyperscaler and cloud infrastructure opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery with cloud architecture, infrastructure, platform engineering, silicon, networking and data-center stakeholders.

Architecture and Solution Design

• Develop solution architectures and technical-commercial narratives for large-scale GPU and AI infrastructure deployments.
• Translate requirements covering performance, reliability, tenancy, networking, storage, orchestration, security and operations into differentiated solutions.

Validation and Pursuit Support

• Coordinate benchmarks, validations, workshops, proofs of concept, RFP/RFI responses and executive technical presentations.
• Support technical risk assessment and implementation readiness.

Field Enablement

• Provide field feedback and develop reusable reference architectures, playbooks and competitive guidance.
• Coordinate engineering, product, delivery, finance, legal and sales contributors.

Qualifications:

Required

• 8-12 years in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, cloud infrastructure, HPC or AI platforms.
• Experience supporting hyperscaler, cloud, semiconductor or large-scale infrastructure pursuits.
• Hands-on understanding of GPUs, networking, storage, orchestration, performance and infrastructure economics.

• Candidates must have demonstrated experience in AI infrastructure, including GPUs, accelerated computing, and related ecosystems.

• Ability to influence senior technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred

• Experience at a hyperscaler, NeoCloud, semiconductor company, OEM or AI infrastructure provider.
• Knowledge of capacity commitments, joint roadmaps and multi-year infrastructure agreements.

The compensation structure consists of base salary with bonus, LTIP and benefits on top. Salary ranges are set according to the role, level, and location.
