Manager, Release Train Engineer

Who you’ll be working with:

If you have a strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering, and are analytical, technologically savvy, solutions and process-focused, then the Technology & Operations team may be for you!

You’ll be responsible for the following:

• RTE acts as primary Program Manager for Mobile App Releases (weekly meeting for App team as to ensure app delivery timeline, handles gap assessment as needed, full end to end cycle hands on until App submission roll outs.
• RTE applies cross tribe/ inter tribe support to all system, platform, and/or network level changes from Initiatives across the company’s businesses, services and/or products and helps synchronize all the production deployment activities. Performing end to end service management from demand value, performing for work or accomplishing a common objective.
• Works with different teams to review, ensure, approve deployment requests across, aimed at ensuring the schedule of changes as to assess transactional impact vs non impacting based on peak/off peak hours for all GCASH services, products, systems as will not cause any disruptions at/during business hours and customers.
• RTE helps/give guidance for SMs as needed for timeline concerns as recommendations for QA regression impact analysis as not to hamper/delay Tech RFS schedules. RTE gives weekly onboarding activity for new SMs hired by VMO.
• Acts as release deployment support team for all platforms.

We’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical degree or equivalent to Project management. Must have at least 2-3 years of Release Management experience/Release Manager, managing a proprietary products or platforms from a Financial or Technical Industry.
• Must have a service management or incident management experience.
• Certifications such as the SAFe Release Train Engineer certification (SAFe RTE) can be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Project management. Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrums/Waterfall/Agile)
• Experience working with Agile / Lean environments; ideally direct involvement in an Agile Release Train (ART) and Program Increment (PI).
