GE Vernova is an American energy company created in April 2024 when General Electric split into three, taking the power, wind and electrification businesses. It builds and services gas turbines that generate a substantial share of the world's electricity, onshore and offshore wind turbines, grid equipment including transformers and high-voltage transmission, and nuclear technology through GE Hitachi and its BWRX-300 small modular reactor. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the company sits at the centre of two simultaneous demand shocks: the electrification of transport and industry, and the electricity requirements of large-scale artificial intelligence data centres.

Job Description Summary

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional technical experience in electronics systems, hardware testing, or product development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience performing complex, system-level troubleshooting and executing diagnostic test procedures.

Desired Skills

  • Advanced, intuitive proficiency in system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing and modifying computerized work systems and engineering databases.
  • Proven ability to draw accurate conclusions and independently coordinate the implementation of design or process corrections.
  • High proficiency in interpreting, translating, and explaining complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously with limited direction and ambiguous initial information.
  • Ongoing commitment to maintaining cutting-edge knowledge of current electronics and testing technology.
