GE Vernova is an American energy company created in April 2024 when General Electric split into three, taking the power, wind and electrification businesses. It builds and services gas turbines that generate a substantial share of the world's electricity, onshore and offshore wind turbines, grid equipment including transformers and high-voltage transmission, and nuclear technology through GE Hitachi and its BWRX-300 small modular reactor. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the company sits at the centre of two simultaneous demand shocks: the electrification of transport and industry, and the electricity requirements of large-scale artificial intelligence data centres.

Job Description Summary

The energy transition is one of the defining challenges of our time - and at GE Vernova, the people behind it need to grow as fast as the work itself does. As a Learning Coordinator, you'll be the operational engine behind GE Vernova's learning programs, making sure every event, every experience, and every touchpoint is planned, delivered, and continuously improved. This is a role where your organizational precision and care for people directly shape how thousands of employees across the organization learn, develop, and succeed.

Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Plan and deliver learning events end to end - from calendar management and venue coordination to faculty logistics, purchase orders, and vendor relationships, for both virtual and in-person programs across multiple countries.
  • Own the participant experience at every stage, managing pre-event logistics, run-of-show coordination, and contingency planning to ensure smooth, high-quality delivery.
  • Track and report learning metrics, identify trends in program performance, and surface insights that help leaders make better decisions about development investments.
  • Administer learning programs within the Learning Management System (LMS) and other operational tools, maintaining accurate records and streamlined processes.
  • Market and communicate learning opportunities across multiple channels, helping employees at all levels understand what's available and why it matters.
  • Partner with Learning Leaders and Operations teams on key projects and initiatives, contributing your coordination expertise to broader talent and development priorities.
  • Adhering to standard work and provide insights for improving participant experience and simplifying standard work processes.

Who You Are

You're someone who finds real satisfaction in making complex programs run smoothly - and in knowing that what you do behind the scenes has a direct impact on other people's growth. You're organized, adaptable, and genuinely curious about how learning works.

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in OD, ID, L&D, Education, HR)
  • Solid experience in a learning coordination, HR, organizational development (OD), or learning and development (L&D) role - you've managed logistics for professional programs and know how to keep multiple workstreams on track
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to document processes, draft communications, and present information clearly
  • Solid project management and organization skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proactive and flexible mindset, with the ability to work in an environment with ever-changing priorities within multiple time zones, holding oneself accountable.
  • Basic understanding of budget management as it relates to learning program delivery
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems and learning technology platforms
  • Comfort working both independently and as a collaborative team partner, managing competing priorities without losing detail or quality

Preferred

  • Experience with Workday Learning and/or CVENT event management software
  • Availability to travel occasionally for in-person learning activities
