The Role: Product Manager

Gemini is building the best way to trade and invest - and we just launched a new stock trading product to do it. We're looking for a Product Manager to help own this from the ground up: shaping how customers buy, sell, and track stocks on Gemini, and making the case that a crypto-native platform can be the best place to trade equities too.

The ideal candidate combines a drive for innovation with a thorough understanding of both traditional and digital assets trading and performance, aiming to set new benchmarks in user experience and operational excellence. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing, as well as across the Product organization, you'll employ a data-driven decision-making process and a growth mindset to ensure our platform's features and functionality lead the market in innovation, efficiency, and excellence.

This is a highly visible role at the center of our Stocks roadmap. You'll be one of the first PMs on a product that's still being defined, designed for a builder who wants to set the strategy and create exciting new user experiences.

This role is required to be in person twice a week at our New York City, NY office.

Responsibilities:

• Own specific parts of the stock trading experience end-to-end from the first customer insight to a shipped feature customers use.
• Dig into customer behavior, support tickets, market research, and your own trading instincts to find the highest-leverage problems to solve next.
• Write clear specs, make the tradeoffs explicit, and drive features from idea to launch alongside Engineering, Design, Data, and Marketing.
• Sweat the details including onboarding flows, order execution, statements, and edge cases. For a product this new, the details are the product.
• Ship fast, measure, and iterate.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of product management experience, ideally at a high-growth tech company or fintech.
• AI pilled - you leverage Claude and other AI tools in your day to day.
• A genuine interest in stock trading and investing. You don't need to have been a professional trader, but you should be someone who actually trades or follows markets.
• A bias toward action: you'd rather ship something small and learn than wait for the perfect plan.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills. You can turn a messy problem into a clear spec or a tight Slack update.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $120,500 - $165,000 in the State of New York. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

In the United States, we offer a hybrid work approach at our hub offices, balancing the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Expectations may vary by location and role, so candidates are encouraged to connect with their recruiter to learn more about the specific policy for the role. Employees who do not live near one of our hubs are part of our remote workforce. All employees, however, are required to onboard in-person at one of our office locations.
