Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Business & Operational Leadership
- Own and lead end-to-end RTR service delivery, including General Accounting, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Account Reconciliations across global teams.
- Ensure smooth execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, with timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Drive SLA/KPI performance, governance, and service excellence, proactively managing delivery risks and performance gaps.
- Lead large teams, ensuring talent development, succession planning, retention, and alignment with Genpact culture (CI2).
- Act as a senior escalation point, managing critical client escalations and high-impact business issues.
- Demonstrate strong expertise across RTR domains, including intercompany accounting, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, accruals, amortizations, and financial reporting submissions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, GPO, Digital, Transformation, and Transitions teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, automation, and digital solutions.
- Identify and implement mechanisms to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions.
- Support new deal cycles including solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition, and stabilization activities.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner to client leadership, building trusted relationships focused on operational excellence, transformation, and value creation.
- Engage confidently with stakeholders across Finance, Controllership, Procurement, Agency Finance, Media Operations, and business leadership teams.
- Lead monthly governance forums, business reviews, and performance discussions with clear insights, decisions, actions, and accountability.
- Anticipate client priorities and convert operational challenges into practical solutions that improve cycle time, control effectiveness, transparency, and stakeholder experience.
Media Finance Expertise
- Exposure to Media Accounting & Media Reconciliations is preferred.
People Leadership
- Build leadership depth through structured coaching, mentoring, capability development, and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management, and career growth across large and diverse teams.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Lead operating cadence discussions to ensure delivery continuity, leadership readiness, and scalability for growth.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SOX, audit, compliance, data protection, risk management, and client control requirements.
- Ensure adherence to global accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP), SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks.
- Establish and enforce governance structures, risk management practices, and control frameworks across operations.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance for all internal and external audits.
- Drive strong focus on risk mitigation, financial integrity, and control effectiveness.
