Job Description

• Administer, configure, and optimize DataDog, AppDynamics, and Quantum Metrics platforms to provide end-to-end observability across applications and infrastructure.
• Deploy, customize, troubleshoot, and maintain DataDog and AppDynamics agents to ensure accurate monitoring and performance visibility.
• Design and implement monitoring solutions, including mobile monitoring, browser Real User Monitoring (RUM), and synthetic monitoring, to enhance user experience and application reliability.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for full-stack observability, leveraging APM, logs, metrics, and distributed tracing to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and platform teams to gather monitoring requirements and implement effective dashboards, alerting strategies, and observability frameworks.
• Design and develop automation solutions using Python, GitOps principles, and DevOps best practices to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
• Support and monitor cloud-native workloads running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes environments.
• Perform proactive monitoring, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and performance tuning to ensure platform stability and reliability.
• Contribute to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives through the implementation and support of observability tools such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry (OTel), and Grafana.
• Develop and maintain monitoring standards, service health dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, and alerting mechanisms to improve operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement in observability, automation, and monitoring practices across enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Leverage AI-driven capabilities to automate routine tasks, reduce alert fatigue, improve signal-to-noise ratio, and enhance incident response processes.
• Evaluate and implement advanced observability technologies, including anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency through modern monitoring and SRE best practices

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is:

60,000 to 75,000 USD
