We are looking for an experienced Greek Media Specialist to support an upcoming short-term project in September. The ideal candidate will have an established network across the Greek media landscape and a strong track record of securing meaningful media coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage strong existing relationships across Greek media, including broadcast, television, radio, business, news and other relevant media channels.
• Proactively pitch stories and opportunities to journalists, editors, producers and media contacts.
• Secure relevant, high-quality media coverage aligned with the project objectives.
• Identify the most appropriate media outlets and contacts for different stories and audiences.
• Manage media outreach and follow-up throughout the project.
• Provide advice on the Greek media landscape and the best approach to generating coverage.

Requirements

• Strong, current network of contacts across a broad range of Greek media, rather than expertise limited to one sector or channel.
• Proven media relations and PR experience within Greece.
• Demonstrable track record of successfully pitching and securing coverage, not simply maintaining media databases or distributing press releases.
• Strong understanding of Greek broadcast, TV, radio, business and news media.
• Fluent Greek and strong English communication skills.
• Able to work independently and move quickly within a short project timeframeAvailability
