Inside Sales Associate, Insurance Tech Startup

Job Description:

• Take great care of customers and identify coverage gaps, eligible discounts, and renewal increases
• Answer inbound calls from customers shopping for auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies
• Assist policyholders with changes and service needs
• Develop deep knowledge of insurance products and the company app
• Match customers with suitable insurance carriers and coverage
• Solve problems that prevent customers from obtaining appropriate coverage
• Process service requests involving vehicles, drivers, lienholders, and policy documents
• Provide feedback to improve the product
• Work as a member of the Customer Operations team across sales and service paths

Requirements:

• Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus, but not required
• Genuinely friendly and positive attitude
• Willingness to work as a team
• Strong work ethic
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Must currently reside in an eligible hiring location: AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, or VA for full-time hourly employment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid P&C license, or be eligible to obtain one with employer support
