Payment Operations Specialist

Description

We are looking for a Payment Operations Specialist to oversee day-to-day payment operations at Gett. You will monitor a high volume of transactions and help ensure riders are charged accurately and receive refunds on time.

You will work closely with Product, Finance, Data, and Engineering, as well as payment service providers (PSPs) and acquiring banks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor authorization rates, investigate failed transactions, and resolve payment incidents.
• Optimize authorizations, captures, refunds, and recurring charges to improve payment conversion and reduce processing costs.
• Build automated dashboards with SQL and business intelligence (BI) tools to track key payment metrics and help teams prioritize improvements.
• Work with internal teams to improve payment systems and streamline day-to-day operations through automation and AI tools.
• Manage relationships with PSPs and acquiring banks to resolve processing issues and improve payment routing.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in payment processing, banking, or fintech, with a strong understanding of the card payment lifecycle - required.
• Direct experience working with PSPs and acquiring banks and using payment orchestration and smart routing - required.
• Hands-on experience with 3D Secure (3DS) and digital wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay - required.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis, with familiarity with BI tools - required.
• Experience implementing workflow automation and AI tools - required.
• Fluency in English and Hebrew and strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders - required.
• Familiarity with Israeli payment infrastructure (SHVA and local acquirers) - an advantage.
• Familiarity with payment reconciliation and fraud - an advantage.
• Experience with high transaction volumes or in mobility or marketplaces - an advantage.
