Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Senior Commissions Analyst to join our ever-evolving Finance Team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex commission processes that reward sales performance, strengthen financial controls, and build employee confidence in our compensation programs. By combining advanced data analysis, financial expertise, and cross-functional partnership, you’ll deliver accurate commission outcomes, influence compensation planning, and provide insights that improve business decisions. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead projects, enhance governance, and improve processes while supporting Global Payments’ mission and long-term growth.
What you'll own
- Deliver accurate and timely commission outcomes by overseeing complex payment cycles and ensuring every calculation aligns with compensation plans, governance standards, and business requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls and accountability by auditing commission results, resolving discrepancies, and identifying risks before they affect employees or the business.
- Shape compensation planning and strategy by contributing data-driven recommendations, plan documentation, and quota development that align employee performance with organizational goals.
- Influence business decisions through advanced analysis by transforming large volumes of sales and financial data into clear insights that improve performance visibility and planning.
- Lead process and project improvements that increase the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of commission administration while strengthening collaboration across Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Legal, and Sales.
What you'll bring
- At least four years of relevant experience in commission administration, compensation analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, with demonstrated ownership of complex commission processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills, with a proven ability to manage large datasets, investigate discrepancies, and produce accurate sales reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and consistently meet critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve issues, provide guidance, and deliver shared business outcomes.
- An adaptable and accountable mindset, with the ability to work independently, contribute effectively within a team, and lead assigned projects and initiatives.
It's a bonus if you have
- Experience using Xactly or another incentive compensation management platform.
- Experience supporting commission plan design, quota development, governance, or compensation strategy.
- A track record of improving commission processes, controls, reporting, or analytical capabilities.
