Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and leadership-driven Risk & KYC Managerto oversee our client onboarding, due diligence, and financial crime prevention frameworks. In this role, you will lead a specialized team of analysts, manage high-risk escalations, and ensure strict compliance with global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. You will serve as the core bridge between operational execution and regulatory oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:Supervise KYC analysts and onboarding specialists, conducting performance reviews and training.
- Risk Assessment:Evaluate high-risk client profiles, making independent risk-mitigation recommendations.
- Policy Enforcement:Update and implement standard operating procedures for AML/KYC compliance and adapt them to changing regulations.
- Resolve escalations:Act as the final checkpoint for complex investigations.
- Audit quality:Perform regular internal risk audits and compliance testing.
- Report activity:Investigate and file suspicious activity reports (SARs).
- Cross-Functional Liaison:Act as the main point of contact between operations, legal, compliance, and senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or Criminology.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in AML/KYC operations, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in the iGaming sectors is a must.
- Deep understanding of AML, CTF (Counter-Terrorist Financing), and KYC laws.
- Strong problem-solving and risk-based decision-making abilities.
- Clear reporting skills for key performance indicators (KPIs) and escalation management.
