Job Responsibilities :
- Build deep contextual and domain knowledge, identify reporting needs & gaps and support adhoc needs of the business
- Partner with other teams on crossfunctional projects to develop process efficiencies
- Work on continuously enhancing reconciliation models and help improve accuracy
- Design & develop comprehensive, consistent & accurate financial reports that comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Conduct research, gather data, and perform analysis to identify solutions and work with crossfunctional teams to implement solution
- Escalate issues to senior management or appropriate teams when necessary. The analyst should have the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide timely updates on issue resolution
- Perform quantitative analysis, including interpreting large, structured data and formulate recommendations
- Work with our Product, Platform, Partnerships, and Finance teams to develop global payments strategy
Requirements :
Job Description :
- BA/BS degree or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics, Finance, Payments
- Proficient in extracting and processing data using Advanced SQL and possess scripting skills (Python preferred) to automate manual work
- Hands on experience with data analysis and providing useful insights
- Experience working with variety of databases and large data sets
- Experience building visualizations and dashboards using Looker/Tableau or similar
- Experience with version control & tools such as Git/Gitlab, Jupyter Notebook, etc
- Detail-oriented and must have the analytical skills for solving unstructured problems
- Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively and multitask in an ambiguous, highvolume environment
About The Role :
As Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for defining business intelligence requirements for individual subject areas; You will design, develop, build, and test controls & financial reporting for external & internal stakeholders. You will work crossfunctionally to collect data, infer trends from a variety of data sources and deliver interpretation to make recommendations to executives. You will help to launch new functionality and markets, adapting to requirements and monitoring our systems for accuracy and efficiency.
