Job Summary
We are looking for an Expert-Level Java Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications powered by Agentic AI and Generative AI. The role combines hands-on Java engineering, AI agent development, system design, and enterprise solution architecture. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to build production-ready AI solutions that integrate intelligent agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and distributed applications.
Required Experience
8+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in Java and enterprise application development.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
Hands-on experience building Agentic AI applications using Java-based frameworks or integrating AI agent frameworks with Java applications.
Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, tool calling, function calling, and structured outputs.
Experience building AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, executing tasks, and interacting with external tools and enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of multi-agent systems, agent orchestration, workflow automation, and state management.
Experience with frameworks and technologies such as Spring AI, LangChain4j, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar agentic AI frameworks.
Experience integrating LLMs through APIs such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and enterprise knowledge retrieval.
Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, distributed systems, messaging platforms, and asynchronous processing.
Experience with databases, application security, authentication, authorization, and secure API integrations.
Experience deploying and operating applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Preferred
Experience building production-grade Agentic AI and multi-agent applications for enterprise use cases.
Experience with Spring AI, LangChain4j, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and agent-to-agent communication patterns.
Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar event-driven messaging technologies.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application development.
Experience with AI evaluation, observability, guardrails, responsible AI, and LLM security.
Experience with Python for AI integrations, prototyping, or supporting AI/ML workflows.
Experience with GitHub Enterprise, AI coding agents, and Spec-Driven Development (SDD).
Strong understanding of system design, design patterns, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on Java development experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
Experience designing and developing Agentic AI applications integrated with enterprise systems.
Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, tool calling, agent orchestration, and multi-step AI workflows.
Experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
Ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable AI-powered applications.
Strong problem-solving, system design, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have
Experience with AI coding agents and Spec-Driven Development (SDD).
Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
Experience with MCP servers, tool integration, and agent interoperability.
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering.
Experience with automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and production monitoring for AI applications.
Experience leading technical design discussions and translating business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.
