Key Charters of the Role:
IT Strategy:
- Evaluate existing stack and technologies in the market for Enterprise Systems to devise short-term and long-term IT strategy
- Lead selection of technologies in consultation with key technology and business stakeholders
- Anchor decisions on build vs buy
Process Transformation:
- Drive simplification in processes and rationalize the need for ongoing customizations across all enterprise functions - HR, Finance and Supply Chain
- Own technology and product - should have deep understanding of processes and journeys to steer solutions/platforms alongside internal stakeholders and technology vendors
- Lead large and complex implementations
- Business partnering with global stakeholders
Vendor Management and Governance:
- Build and drive relationships with key technology vendors - ERP consultants, custom application developers, solution architects, etc. ensuring the organization receives value from its IT investments
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance for both ERP and custom applications
- Develop and manage IT budget ensuring efficient use of resources
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for Enterprise Applications to ensure compliance with organization-wide Information policy and regulatory requirements
Innovation and Capability building:
- Lead adoption of emerging technologies in Enterprise systems landscape
- Foster a culture of innovation in the team
- Lead, mentor and develop high performing team
