Inside Contract Sales

Position Purpose:

The primary function of Inside Sales is to provide product knowledge on building materials to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers who enter the facility.
• Manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and orders.
• Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders, and assist in purchasing.
• Meet project timelines to anticipate customer needs.
• Collaborate with Shipping to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met.
• Work with outside sales staff to stay current with project work and specialty items.
• Learn about new building and home improvement materials to increase retail sales.
• Ensure the facility is clean and stocked.
• Always be an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Inside Sales experience.
• At least 2 years of administrative experience.
• Customer service experience in fast paced setting required.
• Building material and home improvement product knowledge an asset.
• Effective communication skills, verbal, and written English.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
