About Us

We are a modern marketing collective built for scale, efficiency, and impact. As the parent company, Agital supports three specialized agencies: Go Fish Digital, REQ, and WDG, with shared infrastructure, advanced technology, and deeply experienced people, allowing each brand to do its best work.

Go Fish Digital is an engineering-forward performance marketing agency specializing in SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), its Barracuda AI platform, social commerce, and conversion-focused creative.

WDG designs and builds complex enterprise web experiences for associations, nonprofits, foundations, universities, and other mission-driven organizations.

REQ is a digital marketing and communications agency specializing in brand, reputation, and advocacy for global organizations across technology, healthcare, finance, hospitality, and real estate.

Together, we operate as one collaborative ecosystem, combining deep expertise, AI-powered capabilities, and a culture of curiosity to help ambitious brands grow while creating meaningful opportunities for our people.

About the Role

Go Fish Digital is where digital marketing meets clarity, creativity, and scale. As our agency grows and our client engagements become increasingly complex and cross-functional, strong project management is essential to ensuring great strategy turns into great execution.

The Project Manager serves as the operational backbone of assigned client work. This person creates the structure that allows Client Strategy and delivery teams to execute effectively, turning priorities and decisions into clear tasks, realistic timelines, coordinated resources, and measurable progress.

You will work across teams to keep complex client work moving, identify risks before they become problems, and create the visibility teams need to deliver on time and profitably.

What You'll Do

You will own the execution system for a portfolio of complex client accounts and projects.

You will partner closely with Client Strategy and delivery teams to translate approved strategy into actionable work, coordinate timelines and dependencies, maintain clear project plans, and ensure teams have the information and capacity needed to deliver.

You will not own the client relationship or service strategy. Instead, you will create operational discipline around those functions, making sure decisions turn into action, risks surface early, and commitments remain realistic.

Your involvement will vary based on the complexity of the account or project. On some engagements, you may be deeply embedded in internal planning and execution; on others, you may provide lighter project governance and periodic oversight. Go Fish intentionally uses a tiered PM model based on account complexity, revenue impact, coordination burden, timeline risk, capacity needs, and margin exposure.

Key Functions

Project Planning and Execution

  • Translate approved strategy and project decisions into clear work plans, tasks, milestones, dependencies, owners, and timelines.
  • Build and maintain realistic project schedules that reflect scope, priorities, team capacity, and delivery dependencies.
  • Monitor execution, adjust plans as conditions change, and ensure decisions consistently move into action.
  • Maintain strong project structure in ClickUp so teams understand what needs to happen, who owns it, and when it is due.
  • Ensure assigned work meets Go Fish standards for task clarity, ownership, dates, estimates, prioritization, and actionable context.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate work across Client Strategy, delivery teams, and other contributors to keep multi-service and project-based engagements moving smoothly.
  • Translate internal decisions into clear next steps and ensure owners understand dependencies, priorities, and expectations.
  • Identify handoff gaps, conflicting priorities, and unclear ownership before they disrupt delivery.
  • Maintain continuity as work moves across teams and help ensure important decisions, requests, and project context are not lost.

Timeline, Capacity, and Risk Management

  • Maintain current, realistic project timelines and proactively identify work at risk of delay.
  • Monitor team capacity and workload constraints, escalating trade-offs before they affect client commitments.
  • Surface operational risks related to scope, timelines, dependencies, staffing, or workflow and partner with Client Strategy and delivery leaders on resolution.
  • Use sound judgment to address issues directly when possible and escalate repeated or material risks at the appropriate level.
  • Regularly review assigned projects to identify overdue work, adjust dependencies, resolve capacity concerns, and protect delivery timelines.

Margin and Financial Discipline

  • Help protect project and account margin through strong planning, accurate time estimates, workflow control, and visibility into actual effort.
  • Monitor time tracking and hours against project expectations, surfacing material variances or scope concerns early.
  • Support deferred revenue forecasting and revenue-recognition schedules for applicable project-based work.
  • Partner with Client Strategy and Operations to identify when project demands exceed planned scope, capacity, or financial assumptions.
  • Ensure project-management practices support both high-quality delivery and profitable execution. Project-management KPIs at Go Fish specifically include margin protection, time-tracking compliance, and deferred-revenue forecast accuracy where applicable.

Client Lifecycle and Project Setup

  • Support onboarding and kickoff for assigned accounts by establishing project structure, timelines, milestones, tasks, and internal ownership.
  • For project-based engagements, develop the execution schedule and align the internal team before Client Strategy confirms commitments with the client.
  • Maintain project documentation and structure throughout the engagement so teams have a reliable view of current work, decisions, and progress.
  • Support smooth transitions when timelines, priorities, services, or team members change.

What You Bring

Project Management Experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, preferably in a marketing agency, professional-services firm, or multi-client environment.
  • Strong ability to translate strategy and broad direction into clear, actionable project plans.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple teams, disciplines, and dependencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining visibility into priorities, risks, and deadlines.
  • Strong follow-through and a willingness to remain engaged until work is complete.

Planning, Prioritization, and Judgment

  • Strong ability to build realistic timelines, manage dependencies, and anticipate execution risks.
  • Sound judgment when priorities compete, information is incomplete, or teams have conflicting needs.
  • Ability to distinguish between an urgent request and a true project priority.
  • Confidence challenging unrealistic timelines, unclear ownership, or commitments that do not align with available capacity.
  • Ability to escalate risks at the right time and level.

Systems and Analytical Fluency

  • Strong working knowledge of project-management platforms; experience with ClickUp is strongly preferred.
  • Comfort working with time estimates, capacity data, project hours, margin visibility, and execution reporting.
  • Ability to maintain highly organized project structures and accurate task-level information.
  • Comfortable using operational data to identify project risk and guide action.
  • Curiosity about AI and automation and how they can improve project planning, documentation, coordination, or visibility.

Communication and Collaboration

  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to turn meetings and strategic discussions into actionable tasks, owners, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Confidence following up with teammates, challenging unclear requests, and holding stakeholders accountable professionally.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Client Strategy and delivery teams without taking over their strategic or client-facing responsibilities.
  • A calm, responsive, and practical working style.
