QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly driven and ownership-focused QA Automation who will ensure that every new release, whether features, enhancements, or new products, meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and consistency. The buck stops with you. You will have the final say on the correctness and stability of our builds.

Responsibilities:

• Own and evolve the test automation platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Design and maintain robust automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers.
• Build internal QA tools to improve test speed, efficiency, and coverage.
• Establish automation best practices, coding standards, and scalable test design.
• Implement test observability systems (reporting, metrics, defect insights).
• Conduct performance, load, and scalability testing.
• Maintain distributed and containerised test infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and DevOps to embed quality into CI/CD.
• Improve test stability through flakiness detection and intelligent retries.
• Enhance test data management and CI/CD quality gates.
• Research and implement AI/ML, LLM-based test generation, and smart automation.
• Advocate for shift-left quality and testability in architecture discussions.
• Maintain documentation and onboarding guides for frameworks and tooling.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in automation testing for web apps, SaaS platforms, or large-scale systems.

Technical Expertise:

• Frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
• Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab.
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Cloud: AWS or GCP.
• API and backend testing (REST validation, integration testing).
• Performance testing: k6 Locust, JMeter.
• Observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Slack integrations.

Core Strengths:
