Founding AI Engineer

We are looking for a Founding AI Engineer who will play a key role in building and scaling our AI products from the ground up. You will work closely with the founding team to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using Python, LLMs, and RAG. This is a high-ownership role where you can make key technical decisions and tackle challenging AI problems.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI/ML applications using Python and LLMs.
• Design and implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
• Work with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Develop production-ready AI features and improve model performance.
• Build scalable backend services and AI workflows.
• Experiment with different LLM models, tools, and techniques to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Work closely with founders, product, and engineering teams to convert business problems into AI solutions.
• Own projects end-to-end, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and monitoring.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in software engineering / AI engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience working with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Strong experience building RAG-based applications.
• Experience with LLM frameworks/tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models.
