As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end program execution for product launches.
• Influence across your program team, and the program overall.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, launch velocity driving decisions and organize work into sub-projects.

• Work closely with Engineering and Product Management to drive prioritization, planning and product roadmap.
• Manage programs by navigating complexity across high breadth and depth.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in engineering program management.
• 5 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.
• 5 years of experience managing the entire product life cycle from inception to launch, including designing, planning, executing, testing, and releasing features to customers.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Google’s infrastructure and infrastructure management systems.
• Experience with VMware ecosystem and tools.
• Experience managing large, cross-functional programs spanning a various set of stakeholders in engineering organizations.
• Understanding of technical judgement and distributed systems.
