Physical Therapist - Full-Time Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Cape Coral, Florida

Salary: $90K-$110K annually, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Expected Patient Schedule: Approximately 1-2 patients per hour

Employment: Full-Time

About the Role

An orthopedic outpatient practice in Cape Coral is seeking a Physical Therapist with prior outpatient experience.

Patients may be recovering from orthopedic procedures, managing injuries, or working to regain strength and movement following periods of limited activity. The therapist will determine the appropriate course of rehabilitation and make clinical adjustments as patient needs change.

Primary Duties

• Perform initial and follow-up patient assessments
• Treat orthopedic injuries and post-operative conditions
• Establish appropriate rehabilitation goals
• Provide strengthening, flexibility, balance, and mobility exercises
• Progress therapeutic activities according to patient ability
• Incorporate hands-on techniques when appropriate
• Evaluate patient response during follow-up visits
• Revise treatment plans when clinically necessary
• Educate patients on home programs and safe activity
• Complete progress reports and required patient records

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist License
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or MSPT Degree
• Previous outpatient PT experience
• Orthopedic rehabilitation experience
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
