Corporate Development Analyst

About the Role

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you’ll be part of a highly analytical team working on strategic initiatives that shape GoTo’s growth and direction. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to capital market strategy, valuation, M&A, deal structuring, strategic partnerships, and portfolio management.

Beyond financial analysis, you’ll work closely with different teams and stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and support some of GoTo’s most important corporate development decisions.

What Will You Do

• Provide financial and strategic analysis related to the company’s funding and capital markets strategy, M&A, portfolio management and strategic partnerships

• Develop financial models and valuation analyses that help guide the decision making process

• Conduct industry and market research related to trends, risks, opportunities and competitive landscape

• Participate in deals end-to-end, including strategy development, deal negotiation & structuring, due diligence and coordinating with finance, legal, tax and other departments to ensure seamless deal execution

• Create investment memorandums and related presentations for senior management, board and shareholders

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc investor and management reporting

What Will You Need

• At least 2 years of work experience in private equity, corporate development, Big 4 advisory, investment banking, management consulting and/or related experience

• Good grasp of accounting, finance, and legal/tax considerations in M&A and corporate finance

• Solid analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with high level of attention to details

• Works well under pressure to achieve tight timelines while producing high quality outputs

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask

• Ability to manage confidential and highly sensitive information with the highest levels of discretion and professionalism

• Strong communications and collaboration skills. Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
