About GoTyme
GoTyme is a joint venture between the Gokongwei Group, one of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines, and the Singapore-headquartered digital banking group Tyme. This venture combines the trusted Gokongwei brand, customer base, and distribution ecosystem with Tyme’s globally proven digital banking technology and hands-on experience building South Africa’s leading digital bank, TymeBank, one of the fastest-growing digital banks in the world today.
At GoTyme, we have embarked on a journey to democratize financial services and bring next-level banking to the Philippines. We seek individuals who share our belief that the game is worth changing, to join our growing team of GoTymers as we build, launch, and scale a bank that empowers all Filipinos to navigate a path to financial freedom.
About the role
The Head of Product Marketing (Lending) is a strong GTM operator who turns strategy into repeatable, scalable go-to-market systems, from launch playbooks to always-on programs, for GoTyme Bank's portfolio of financial products and services. This role owns full-funnel execution: positioning, sequencing, channel mix, and measurement, and is judged on commercial results, not just plans.
This role is expected to build a portfolio strategy around customer needs and occasions, then operationalizes it into segment-specific GTM plans and builds a team of independent, commercially minded marketers who can each own a GTM motion end to end. Retail and commercial instinct, ecosystem awareness, and taste are valued as accelerants to sharper GTM decisions, not as substitutes for execution rigor.
- Strong operator who turns strategy into repeatable, scalable GTM systems, from launch playbooks to always-on programs.
- Owns full-funnel go-to-market execution: positioning, launch sequencing, channel mix, and measurement, translated into commercial results.
- Builds a portfolio strategy around customer needs and occasions, then operationalizes it into segment-specific GTM plans.
- Connects customer insight and data to commercial opportunity, and moves fast from insight to executed program.
- Sets and owns GTM KPIs (activation, conversion, ROI) and iterates programs based on performance, not opinion.
- Builds and leads a team of independent, commercially minded marketers who can each own a GTM motion end to end.
- Strong retail and commercial instinct that shows up in pricing, packaging, and channel decisions, not just campaign strategy.
- Thinks in ecosystems (partnerships, merchants, channels, loyalty, rewards, and distribution) enough to unlock incremental GTM channels. A plus, not the core ask.
- Comfortable challenging category convention when the data supports a bolder GTM bet.
- Has taste: recognizes what's distinctive and culturally relevant enough to translate into sharper positioning. Nice-to-have, not a gatekeeping requirement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration/ Management, or a related field is required
- At least 7 years leading go-to-market execution in marketing, product marketing, growth, or similar roles, with a demonstrated track record of building repeatable GTM systems and hitting commercial/growth KPIs (activation, conversion, ROI)
- Industry background matters less than proven GTM execution. Strong fits include consumer retail, e-commerce, marketplaces, super apps, travel, loyalty, FMCG with strong commercial exposure, consumer tech, and product-led fintech (a track record of using growth loops and activation/retention mechanics to drive adoption is a strong signal). B2B and lending experience are not a fit for this role.
- Proficient in GTM strategy, planning, and hands-on execution, from playbook design to launch
- Proficient in project management and stakeholder management
- Fluent in funnel metrics, experimentation, and lifecycle marketing, comfortable owning activation, conversion, and ROI numbers
- Knowledge in business intelligence, product management & implementation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
