[What Cybersecurity TAP is]
As a Technology Associate in Cybersecurity, you'll begin your career protecting the digital services and infrastructure that millions of people in Singapore rely on every day.
Over the three-year Technology Associate Programme (TAP), you'll build a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles while working alongside experienced engineers, security specialists and product teams on real systems that underpin Singapore's digital government. Through structured rotations, mentorship and hands-on project experience, you'll deepen your technical craft, grow your confidence and gain exposure to different security challenges across the public sector.
You'll have the opportunity to shape your own growth in a supportive and collaborative environment. Along the way, you'll receive guidance from experienced GovTech cybersecurity practitioners and technology leaders, learn alongside a cohort of like-minded associates, and benefit from curated development opportunities that help you build both your technical expertise and leadership potential.
You'll kickstart your career with one of three tracks based on your interests and strengths. On the Security Testing track, you'll hunt down vulnerabilities in critical government systems before adversaries can exploit them. On the Cyber Defence track, you'll work on the front lines of threat detection, analysing malware, tracking threat actors and uncovering the story behind security incidents. On the Product Engineering track, you'll design and build scalable security solutions that strengthen the government's cybersecurity posture across the board. Whichever path you take, you'll contribute meaningfully to Singapore's cyber resilience while learning from practitioners who are invested in your growth.
Whether you're conducting user research, shaping product experiences or designing intuitive and integrated service flows, you'll have opportunities to contribute meaningfully while learning from experienced practitioners who are invested in your growth.

[What we are looking out for]
- You are a Singapore citizen or Singaporean Permanent Resident
- Will be graduating from university and able to commencework in 2027, or those with less than one year of work experience
- Have a degree in Computer Science, Information Securityor a related discipline. We also welcome applicants from other backgrounds who can demonstratestrong technical aptitude and a genuine interest in cybersecurity
- Demonstrate a passion for cybersecurity through internships, coursework, Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions, personal projectsor self-directed learning
- Be curious about how systems are attacked and defended, whether that'sbreaking into systems, investigating threatsor building security tools
- Enjoy collaborating with others, communicating technical findings clearly and learning through feedback
- Be motivated to do work that keeps Singapore's digital infrastructure secure and the people who depend on it safe
