Join Greenerwave, a pioneering company in the field of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS). As an RF Engineer intern, you will evaluate the performance of our RIS by linking metasurface metrics with those of the beamforming system. You will review existing characterisation methods, select relevant metrics, define measurement methods, and conduct initial measurements and analysis. Missions
- Review the characterisation work already carried out on metasurfaces and conduct a review of the scientific literature on methods and metrics for characterising RIS operating in reflection mode.
- Investigate the relationships between the performance metrics of the metasurface and those of the beamforming system, select relevant metrics, and define characterisation methods suited to the selected metrics.
- Carry out initial measurements using the defined methods, analyse the results to identify relationships between the performance observed for the metasurface and the beamformer.
Profil recherché

You are in the final year of an engineering degree (or an equivalent university programme), specialising in **wave physics, radio frequency engineering or a related field**.
**Your skills**
* You have knowledge of **electromagnetism and antennas**,
* You are familiar with one or more programming languages (ideally Python),
* You are familiar with simulation software such as **CST**, HFSS and/or COMSOL,
* You have knowledge of **circuit design** and a basic understanding of electronics,
* You can use measurement instruments, particularly a **vector network analyser (VNA)** and a spectrum analyser,
* You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.
