Join Greenerwave, a pioneering company focused on integrating neural networks into antenna systems. As a Software Engineer intern, you will work at the intersection of software and algorithms, contributing to the deployment and comparison of different hardware acceleration solutions. You will gain valuable experience in embedded systems, machine learning, and cross-team collaboration.
Missions
- Familiarise yourself with two hardware platforms and run an initial neural network on each, develop a common C++ interface to run models on different AI accelerators.
- Set up tests to compare processing speed, energy consumption and model accuracy across the different platforms, analyse the results to identify the capabilities and limitations of each solution.
- Integrate the models and run them on the embedded platform, adapt the models to hardware constraints with support from this team, then measure the impact on their accuracy.

You are in the final year of an engineering degree or master’s programme, specialising in **embedded systems, computer science or electronics**. You have a strong interest in **machine learning** and would like to apply it to embedded systems.
**Your technical skills**
* You have programming skills in **C++ and Python**,
* You are comfortable working in a **Linux** environment,
* You have a basic understanding of deep learning, using PyTorch or TensorFlow,
* Some knowledge of cross-compilation, Yocto, TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, model quantisation or GPU computing would be a plus,
* Knowledge of radio frequency technology or antennas would also be appreciated, but is not essential,
* You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing.

* You are willing to investigate the root cause of a problem and debug a toolchain,
