Cybersecurity specialist

At Greenvolt, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing Cybersecurity team.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external security partners to strengthen our cybersecurity posture, support incident response activities, manage vulnerabilities, and contribute to the implementation of security controls across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and improve the organisation's cybersecurity posture.
• Manage and coordinate vulnerability remediation activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support cybersecurity incident response activities and investigations.
• Analyse security alerts, threats, risks and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in the implementation of security controls across Microsoft 365, Azure and endpoint environments.
• Support cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance initiatives, including NIS2, ISO 27001 and internal policies.
• Participate in security assessments, audits and supplier security reviews.
• Produce cybersecurity metrics, dashboards and reports for management.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business units and external partners to improve security practices.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security or related roles.
• Good understanding of Microsoft security technologies, including:
• Microsoft Defender
• Microsoft 365 Security
• Microsoft Entra ID
• Intune
• SIEM Tools (nice to have)
• Experience with vulnerability management processes and remediation tracking.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as:
• ISO 27001
• NIST
• CIS Controls
• NIS2 (nice to have)
• Understanding of networking, cloud security and endpoint security concepts.
• Experience supporting security incident investigations and response activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional level of English.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as Security+, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP, SSCP or equivalent.
• Experience in multinational environments.
• Experience within energy, utilities, critical infrastructure or regulated sectors.
