The core requirements for the job include the following:

Technical Skills:

  • Strong experience in backend development with Go / Java / Node.js (at least 2 of these deeply).
  • Strong frontend expertise with React.js (hooks, state management, performance optimisation).
  • Experience with microservices architecture, REST / GraphQL APIs, and distributed systems design.
  • Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • DevOps tools: CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI), Docker and Kubernetes, Terraform (IaC).

Engineering Practices:

  • Test-driven development (TDD).
  • Clean architecture and design patterns.
  • Secure coding practices.
  • Observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc. )

Leadership and Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority.
  • Experience mentoring and growing engineers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 10-15+ years of engineering experience.
  • Experience in staff/principal/lead engineer roles.
