SDE III - Applied AI

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features into existing enterprise applications.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices for AI-driven applications.
• Work with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and AI-based solutions.
• Integrate LLM APIs and AI services into Java-based applications.
• Explore and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Work with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Develop intelligent automation and decision-making capabilities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.

The core requirements for the job include the following:

Core Java and Backend Development:

• Strong proficiency in Core Java.
• Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Microservices architecture.
• RESTful APIs and backend system design.
• Multithreading, concurrency, and OOP concepts.
• SQL/NoSQL databases.

AI / Generative AI:

• Hands-on experience with generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLM APIs.
• Knowledge of RAG architecture and implementation.
• Understanding of embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Prompt engineering and AI application development.
• Familiarity with AI agents and agentic workflows is an advantage.

Additional Skills:

• Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
