Senior Cloud Security Specialist

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead security architecture reviews, cloud security assessments, and hardening activities across GCP environments.
- Design and implement secure cloud governance controls, landing zones, and enterprise security guardrails for GCP adoption.
- Apply GCP cloud security best practices to strengthen identity security, data protection, access management, and cloud-native security controls.
- Support cloud service certification, security control mapping, evidence collection, audit readiness, and security approval processes.
- Implement infrastructure deployments using Terraform while ensuring security, compliance, and governance requirements are incorporated.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and promote secure software delivery through DevSecOps practices.
- Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, risk, and compliance teams to enable secure cloud adoption.
- Contribute to cloud security governance, risk management, compliance assessments, and audit support activities.
- Identify security gaps and recommend appropriate controls to strengthen the overall cloud security posture.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise cloud security standards and practices.
- Ensure cloud solutions align with applicable regulatory, security, and organizational requirements.
Total Experience : 8 - 13 years
Required Skills & Experience :
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity architecture, or enterprise cloud consulting.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in GCP Cloud Security and cloud-native security controls.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure deployment and automation.
- Working experience with DevSecOps and integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, security architecture, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience with security control implementation, control mapping, evidence collection, and audit support.
- Experience supporting organizations in banking, capital markets, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Good understanding of identity and access management, data protection, access controls, and cloud security governance.
- Strong experience working with architecture, engineering, security, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
