Headquartered in Bjerringbro, Denmark, Grundfos (Grundfos Holding A/S) is a global water technology and industrial pump manufacturing enterprise. The company designs and produces energy-efficient pumps and fluid handling systems - including circulator, centrifugal, and submersible pumps, as well as integrated electric motors, intelligent controls, and digital water management platforms. Serving building services (HVAC), industrial manufacturing, municipal water supply, wastewater treatment, and agricultural irrigation sectors across more than 60 countries, it functions as one of the world's largest pump manufacturers and a primary provider of sustainable water infrastructure.

Are you a hands-on professional who takes pride in building quality products and contributing to a team that keeps production running smoothly? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.

As our new Assembly Operator, you'll be performing assembly operations across various production tasks that ensure our pumps and water technology solutions meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Production Assembly team, you'll create impact by contributing to the reliable manufacture of world-class water technology products that help solve global water and climate challenges.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Operate and maintain area-specific assembly equipment, including safety checks, machine setup, material loading, and finished product handling
  • Follow work instructions precisely while using and documenting measurement equipment to ensure consistent product quality
  • Maintain 5S workplace standards and adhere to all safety policies, promptly reporting near misses or incidents to your Supervisor or Safety Coordinator
  • Consistently meet production targets and support Total Productive Maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime
  • Propose improvement ideas and actively participate in continuous improvement workshops to enhance team performance

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a reliable, physically fit team player with production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across assembly operations with minimal supervision.

We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • GCE O Level or NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Prior hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing assembly environment
  • Ability to operate equipment via computer touch screens and possess basic computer skills
  • Physically fit and able to work extended hours when required

It's a plus if you also:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with quality tools and measurement equipment in a production setting
  • Familiarity with 5S and Total Productive Maintenance practices

Why you'll love working here

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.

Valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds. As part of our commitment to a safe and compliant hiring process, final candidates may be required to undergo a background check, subject to applicable local laws and regulations.
