  • Prepare field documentation, data tables, figures, technical memoranda, report sections, work plans, and permit application materials.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Principals, subcontractors, laboratories, and other project team members to support safe and efficient project delivery.

What you will bring:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant environmental consulting experience, including field investigation, site remediation, permitting, construction management, or related work.
  • Experience with Pennsylvania and New Jersey environmental regulations.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification preferred.
  • Strong interest in safety and ability to follow GZA Health and Safety programs, policies, and procedures during on-site activities.
  • Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, organizational, and data management skills.
  • Ability to balance field and office responsibilities with independence, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing clear technical documentation, including field notes, figures, tables, report sections, and permit-related materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD, ArcGIS, gINT, or other technical software experience is a plus.
  • Completed 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour refresher status preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally and regionally. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and a reliable vehicle.

What you will get:

  • Small firm culture with a large firm reputation and resources-you will know your colleagues and clients, and they will know you.
  • A collaborative, supportive environment that values technical excellence, safety, initiative, and client service.
  • Direct access to Project Managers, Principals, and other senior technical leaders who are invested in your growth.
  • Professional development support, mentoring, technical training, and a clear path for career advancement.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including generous company-subsidized health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan benefits, and professional development support.
