Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, mixers, reactors, and other chemical processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to restore equipment functionality.
- Assist with installation, calibration, and alignment of new or upgraded equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during all maintenance work.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues to supervisors.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and request replenishment when needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in maintenance within chemical or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in chemical processing.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Basic computer skills for CMMS and data entry.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with SAP PM or similar ERP systems.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
- English proficiency (basic reading and writing).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
