SDET Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Build end-to-end, functional, regression, and API automation test suites.
• Develop reliable automation for critical user journeys and platform workflows.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI / Jenkins / GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and QA teams to improve release quality.
• Perform API testing using tools/frameworks like Postman, Playwright API, or Rest Assured.
• Debug failures, perform root cause analysis, and improve test reliability.
• Identify flaky tests and improve automation stability and execution speed.
• Participate in test planning, automation reviews, and quality strategy discussions.
• Contribute towards AI/LLM quality initiatives, evaluation testing, or automation innovation projects.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in automation and manual testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Good programming knowledge in TypeScript / JavaScript / Python / Java.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design, SDLC and STLC, test design techniques, debugging and root cause analysis.
• Experience with: API testing, cross-browser testing, CI/CD integration, Git/version control systems.
• Basic SQL/database knowledge.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools, LLM evaluation workflows, or AI testing initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM testing concepts, including evaluation frameworks or prompt validation workflows.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AI/LLM testing or evaluation frameworks.
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools or automation workflows.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, or cloud-based execution environments.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (k6 JMeter, etc. )
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience working in product-based or SaaS environments.
