About the Role We are seeking a Software Development Engineer with 6-9 years of professional experience to lead backend development for complex, scalable systems. This role combines deep technical expertise, client-facing engagement, and leadership responsibilities. You will design, implement, and optimize backend services, drive delivery excellence, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do & The Impact You'll Have Lead backend system design, estimation, and implementation efforts. Build and deploy highly scalable APIs on AWS, applying best practices in networking (VPC, DNS, NLB, Cloud NAT). Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure deployments with CORS, WAF, and IAM policies. Act as the client-facing technical lead during discussions, deep-dives, and delivery presentations. Guide L3-L5 engineers, review architecture decisions, and mentor team members. Deliver large components/modules, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and scale. Balance 50% leadership (reviews, client alignment) and 50% individual contribution (core components, POCs).
