Windchill Data Migration Architect

- Define overall Windchill data migration strategy, scope, and sequencing. Conduct source-to-target mapping workshops with business and IT stakeholders. Finalize migration approach including rehearsals, delta strategy, and cutover plan.

- Assess source PLM systems (Windchill, Agile, Teamcenter, custom systems) and define data mapping rules and identify data conflicts, duplicates, and quality issues.

- Lead end-to-end migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) through multiple rehearsal migrations (RH-1 / RH-2 / RH-3) and Production migration.

- Define migration validation strategy and KPIs, support and govern business validation cycles post each rehearsal, drive defect resolution, re-runs, and fix verification, support go-live, cutover weekend, and hypercare.

- Provide technical guidance to Migration Consultants and Developers, Review and approve migration scripts, SQL transformations, and utilities, Work closely with Functional, CAD, Integration, and Infrastructure teams, Ensure complete migration documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Very strong hands-on expertise in Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM).

- Proven experience in multiple end-to-end Windchill migration programs.

- Deep understanding of :

1. Windchill object model and relationships.

2. Parts, BOMs, Documents, CAD, and Change data.

3. Lifecycles, versions, and iterations.

- Strong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server) for large-volume data analysis.

- Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial / Automotive / Medical Devices domains strongly preferred.

- At least one non-Windchill to Windchill migration experience is mandatory.

- Typically 10 - 15+ years experience in PLM, with strong migration focus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
