Overview

OMNI Human Resource Solutions has recently partnered with our client, a leading hospitality destination in St. Petersburg, Florida, seeking an experienced General Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee operations at a highly regarded recreation and tourism venue. This individual will be committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of the organization.

The General Manager provides leadership for a dynamic hospitality and recreation operation, overseeing daily operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development. This role drives operational excellence while creating an exceptional experience for guests and a positive culture for employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across all operational areas to deliver exceptional guest experiences, service excellence, and strong business results.
• Lead and develop teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and hospitality.
• Oversee daily operations, including food and beverage, retail, guest services, and recreation.
• Drive financial performance through budgeting, revenue growth, cost controls, and resource management.
• Build strong relationships with guests, vendors, and community partners while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance, operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support strategic planning and execute programs that contribute to long-term organizational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of hospitality, food and beverage, or retail related management experience.
• Proven success managing multiple departments and leading diverse teams in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L accountability, and cost control.
• Ability to drive guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational performance.
• Experience developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficient technology skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office products and POS systems.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods as needed.
