Hasbro is an American toy and entertainment company founded in Rhode Island in 1923 by three brothers selling textile remnants, and it now owns Monopoly, Nerf, Play-Doh, Transformers, My Little Pony and Peppa Pig alongside the tabletop games publisher Wizards of the Coast. Its most valuable single asset is arguably Magic: The Gathering, whose collectible economics generate more profit than much larger toy lines, and the company has been reshaping itself around games and licensing after selling the eOne film studio.
