EXECUTIVE - BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (Location - Welisara)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and develop new business opportunities, products, and markets to drive revenue growth.
Acquiring new customers and expanding business within existing accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Generate leads, conduct customer visits, and convert opportunities into sales.
Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and negotiate commercial terms.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to order fulfillment and after-sales support.
Monitor sales performance, profitability, and achievement of business targets.
Maintain an active sales pipeline, customer database, and sales forecasts.
Support product launches, marketing initiatives, and represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management in line with business requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification in Marketing, Business Management, Sales or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in logistics, container solutions, packaging products, or industrial products will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
Passed GCE O/L with at least 6 passes, including Mathematics and English, and a minimum of 3 passes at GCE A/L.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of CRM systems and market analysis will be an advantage.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and willing to travel for customer visits and business meetings.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with cross-functional teams
