Overview of the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and integrating scalable enterprise applications using modern front-end, database, and cloud technologies. Your expertise will directly influence the architecture, performance, and reliability of mission-critical solutions that support our clients' evolving business needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive the development lifecycle, ensure best practices, and contribute to the company's reputation for technical excellence and innovation.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and participate in solution design workshops.

• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to create robust, scalable application designs.

• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Angular (v10+), REST APIs, NoSQL databases, MongoDB, and integration/cloud technologies such as Apache Kafka and Azure Cloud Services.

• Integrate front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience.

• Perform thorough testing, deployment, and debugging across environments.

• Monitor, scale, and optimize application performance, leveraging cloud and DevOps practices.

• Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with industry standards.

• Contribute to technical documentation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with internal teams for project delivery.

• Provide production support and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Technical Skills:

• Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in software development.

• Expertise in at least 2 out of the following technology groups:

• Front-End Technologies: Angular (v10+), front-end frameworks, REST API integration.

• Database Technologies: NoSQL databases, MongoDB.

• Integration & Cloud Technologies: Apache Kafka, Azure Cloud Services, application scaling and monitoring.

• Strong experience in DevOps practices, including Git (version control), Selenium (automation testing), and CI/CD deployment toolchains.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps pipelines (CI, CD, Code Review, Change Management), and branching strategies.

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server architecture (clustering, load balancing, installations).

• Familiarity with SDLC and source control management.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Certifications (Preferred):

• Relevant certifications in Angular, MongoDB, Azure, DevOps, or cloud technologies.

Other Requirements (Optional)

• Experience with payment and messaging gateways (FileAct, FTIO, MFT, SAA, MQIO, BESS).

• Familiarity with integration technologies such as IBM Integration Bus (IIB), HTTP, MQ protocols.

• Experience building frameworks or products.

• Contributions to white papers and/or open-source projects.

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with Spotify Agile model and Dreyfus model.

• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Proactive mindset with demonstrated participation in Agile ceremonies and production support.
