Senior Group Technical Architect

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Architect in UI/UX Designs is responsible for overseeing the technical architecture and user experience design aspects of projects. They will be involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining the architecture of software systems while ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience throughout the development lifecycle.

• Define the overall UX/UI architecture and design strategy for enterprise web and digital applications.
• Lead creative design, user experience, interaction design, and visual design from concept through implementation.
• Create high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes, wireframes, user journeys, and reusable components using Figma.
• Establish and govern enterprise-level Figma libraries, component libraries, design tokens, templates, and design systems.
• Translate complex business workflows and technical requirements into simplified, user-friendly experiences.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, SMEs, architects, and engineering teams to define UX requirements.
• Develop information architecture, user flows, journey maps, personas, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Drive Design Thinking sessions to identify user pain points and define innovative experience solutions.
• Ensure consistency in branding, typography, color, layout, navigation, responsive behavior, and overall visual language.
• Define responsive UX approaches across desktop, tablet, mobile, and web-based applications.
• Work closely with front-end development teams to ensure accurate translation of Figma designs into production applications.
• Perform design reviews and provide UX guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design, including alignment with WCAG standards.
• Perform usability assessments and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into iterative designs.
• Identify opportunities to modernize legacy applications and create a consistent user experience across multiple platforms.
• Provide UX architecture guidance and mentorship to designers and development teams.
• Explore the use of AI-assisted design capabilities to accelerate ideation, prototyping, content creation, and design workflows while maintaining appropriate design governance.

Skill Requirements

• Strong hands-on expertise with Figma and FigJam.
• Advanced knowledge of UX/UI design, interaction design, visual design, and creative design.
• Experience building and managing enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries.

• Excellent presentation, storytelling, stakeholder-management, and design-advocacy skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Miro, or similar design/collaboration platforms.
• Understanding of modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with WCAG accessibility and inclusive design practices.
• Experience designing for large-scale enterprise digital-transformation or application-modernization programs.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-enabled UX, conversational interfaces, and AI-assisted design workflows.
• Experience developing UX standards and governance across multiple applications or product teams.
