Own voice/SBC architecture, high-severity telephony incidents and carrier/vendor escalation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced SIP, SBC, media, carrier and ACS problem resolution and RCA.
  • Own SBC HA/DR design, capacity, upgrades, security and architecture governance.
  • Review high-risk telephony changes, dial plans, certificates and routing design.
  • Lead carrier and SBC-vendor escalations and validate corrective actions.
  • Mentor L2 engineers and establish voice monitoring and diagnostic standards.

Skill Requirements

  • Advanced Ribbon SBC architecture, SIP engineering, media security and HA/DR.
  • ACS/Teams voice architecture, carrier interconnects and regulatory awareness.
  • Packet/SIP analysis, capacity, resilience and complex RCA.
  • Technical leadership, vendor governance and customer communication.

Other Requirements

  • Advanced SBC vendor and Teams Voice certifications preferred.
  • Experience with large outbound contact-center voice estates.
