Principal/Senior Software Architect:
Scope:
Review our entire codebase and architectural setup to determine the right blueprint for our operational and security needs. We need an experienced technical gatekeeper to evaluate our current setup, establish strong software engineering standards, and ensure our platform architecture is pragmatic, secure, and scalable before technical debt builds up.
Skills:
Expertise in Python, C# (.NET), microservices architecture, and API Gateway patterns.
Establish strong software engineering practices within a SecOps team that is not traditionally software-focused.
Architect the Central Gateway API contracts, including endpoints, methods, and data schemas.
Define secure containerization patterns (e.g., Docker) and guide how services should be containerized across the platform.
Review and steer the overall architecture, covering both the citizen development platform and the broader CDC Engine custom stack.
Act as a technical gatekeeper and ensure pragmatic technology choices, avoiding unnecessary complexity where simpler solutions are sufficient.
Guide internal developers on scalable, maintainable, and secure development practices across both scripting and compiled languages.
