Technical Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-grade software solutions built on Java technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Java development, proven project management experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

The role requires ownership of end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, technical governance, and successful execution of projects within scope, quality, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, resource plans, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to delivery commitments.
• Manage project budgets, resource utilization, and effort estimations.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance to development teams on Java-based applications.
• Review solution designs and ensure adherence to architecture standards.
• Drive technical discussions involving system integration, APIs, microservices, cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA teams, and DevOps engineers.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, business stakeholders, and senior management.
• Conduct governance meetings, project reviews, status reporting, and escalation management.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical deliverables.

Agile Delivery

• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely delivery of sprint commitments and release objectives.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to SDLC, coding standards, security compliance, and organizational quality processes.
• Oversee testing strategy, defect management, and release management activities.
• Drive implementation of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
