HERO Software is an established software company from Germany, and in 2025 we successfully launched in the Netherlands. Since then, more and more installers, contractors, painters and gardening companies have chosen HERO to run their business. Now, with HERO AI and a growing Dutch team operating from a unique location De Koepel in Haarlem, we’re taking the next step in 2027.
As Account Executive, you own the full sales cycle: you build your pipeline, run demos that show real value, and close deals. You’ll combine the strength of an established company with the energy of a fast-growing local team, and grow with us along the way.
Your Mission
- Pipeline Building: Follow up on inbound leads and build your own pipeline through outbound outreach
- Demo Excellence: Run tailored online demos that show how HERO, including HERO AI, helps trade businesses grow
- Deal Closure: Take prospects from first contact to signed contract
- Smooth Handover: Hand new customers over to our Customer Experience Manager for a strong start
- Market Expansion: Represent HERO at trade fairs, events and the occasional customer visit
- Market Insights: Share feedback from the field with Sales, Marketing and Product
Requirements
Your Superpowers
- Language Expertise: Native-level Dutch plus strong English (C1+) for seamless communication across markets
- Proven Sales Experience: 2-4 years of successful experience in SaaS sales or B2B sales
- Presentation Skills: Confident demo’s that turn prospects into customers
- Strategic Persistence: Structured approach to follow-ups with the drive to consistently move deals forward
- Location Flexibility: Based in the Netherlands, with regular presence at De Koepel in Haarlem occasionally youtravel to our offices in Berlin or Hannover for team sessions and meet-ups
- Bonus Qualifications: Knowledge of Dutch trades sector, German language skills, fast-cycle SMB sales experience, or proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Experience/knowledge on the SPICED methodology

Salary Range: €62,000 - €71,000 OTE per year (~ 2/3 fixed, ~1/3 commission), with uncapped acceleration when you exceed your targets
