· Conduct on-site inspections of all phases, from initial clearing to final grading.

· Oversee and verify soil testing, compaction tests (e.g., proctor and nuclear density), and material quality.

· Manage and maintain all project documentation, including daily reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.

· Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and engineers to address any quality issues immediately.

· Ensure all work complies with engineering drawings, local regulations, and safety protocols.

· Train and guide field crews on proper quality control procedures and standards

· Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful delivery of projects

· Wear, maintain, and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in accordance with company policies, site requirements, and applicable safety regulations

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions on-site.

· Strong communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of team members, from labourers to engineers.

- Read engineering drawings/specifications; document inspections, results and non-conformances; communicate findings to site crews, supervisors and engineers.

- Understand soil mechanics, earthmoving methods and testing tools, including nuclear density equipment where applicable.

Benefits

- Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience - $35-$45/hour
