The IT Supervisor will provide technical support and help maintain Hilton Addis Ababa's IT infrastructure, including computer systems, servers, networks, software, user accounts, backups, and security systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to team members and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, servers, and network equipment.
- Manage user accounts and permissions while maintaining appropriate access control and data security.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Install and update antivirus and other security software.
- Assist with procurement of IT equipment and software.
- Train employees on IT best practices and support compliance with IT policies.
- Stay informed about emerging IT trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on larger technology projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
- Hands-on knowledge of hotel operating software, including systems such as OPERA and Sun.
- Knowledge of network administration and hardware maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- CCNA/CCNP certification is advantageous.
- Adaptability, teamwork, and commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

The Learning & Development Officer will support employee development by identifying training needs, designing and delivering learning programs, coordinating training activities, and evaluating training effectiveness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with department heads and HR business partners to identify learning and development needs and priorities.
- Design, develop, and deliver learning solutions, including instructor-led training, e-learning, workshops, and other development programs.
- Work with subject matter experts to develop engaging and interactive learning materials.
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, venues, participant registration, and training materials.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops using appropriate instructional techniques.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Recommend improvements based on training outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging learning and development technologies.
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, evaluations, and completion certificates.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in learning and development, training, or organizational development.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery techniques.
- Experience developing learning solutions, including e-learning, instructor-led, and virtual training programs.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training technology platforms.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
- Commitment to continuous learning and employee development.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices.
- Hands-on experience in Training Needs Assessment, Training Impact Assessment, and Training Delivery.
