Digital SEO, Website & Analytics Manager

Job Description

• A pharmaceutical manufacturing and healthcare company is seeking a Digital SEO, Website and Analytics Manager iwho will be responsible for driving organic visibility, traffic, and engagement across all digital properties using data-led SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement technical, on-page, and off-page SEO strategies to maximize discoverability and rankings.
• Research & Intelligence: Conduct continuous keyword, topic, and competitor analysis.
• AI & Next-Gen Search: Optimize web content for emerging AI search engines (AEO/GEO) and answer platforms.
• Technical Health: Monitor search engine health, crawlability, metadata, and site architecture, resolving technical issues promptly.
• Ecosystem Strategy: Maintain and evolve the digital platform strategy across all consumer brands.
• Platform Management: Oversee consumer brand websites and landing pages, ensuring speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and UI/UX standards.
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Conduct A/B testing, map user journeys, and refine conversion paths to improve lead generation and engagement.
• Development & Projects: Coordinate web projects, features, and continuous improvements alongside internal teams and external agency partners.
• Analytics Architecture: Manage GA4, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
• Tracking & Governance: Enforce accurate UTM tagging, event tracking, custom dimensions, and attribution models.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain automated performance dashboards for marketing leadership and brand teams.
• Actionable Insights: Translate digital data into strategic recommendations to optimize ongoing campaigns and consumer journeys.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all web properties comply with privacy legislation (e.g., POPIA/GDPR), advertising codes, and healthcare/brand governance standards.
• MarTech Operations: Support integrations between CMS, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain site security, content currency, and domain integrity across all touchpoints.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business.
• Certifications (Advantageous): Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or recognized SEO/Digital Marketing certifications.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in SEO, website management, and web analytics.
• Hands-on proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and Looker Studio.
• Demonstrated experience managing Content Management Systems (WordPress or equivalent).
• Background in Consumer Health, Healthcare, or FMCG is strongly advantageous.
