Inside Partner Business Manager

As an Inside Partner Business Manager (iPBM) for Personal Systems, you will work closely with a Partner Business Manager (PBM) to support a portfolio of commercial reseller partners in the Netherlands serving business customers from SMB to Corporate and Enterprise. Together, the PBM and iPBM are responsible for building strong partner relationships, delivering an outstanding partner experience and contributing to business growth. The PBM leads the overall HP partner strategy and is ultimately accountable for the partner relationship. The iPBM supports the PBM by coordinating the day-to-day business and helping ensure strong commercial and operational execution. Together, you work as one team to support partner success and strengthen HP’s position within the partner organization.

The primary purpose of this role is to improve Ease of Doing Business with HP. By acting as a trusted extension of both the partner organization and the HP team, you help partners navigate HP tools, programs, processes and opportunities. Through timely support, clear communication and reliable follow-through, you contribute directly to partner satisfaction, business performance and long-term loyalty.

This role combines relationship management, commercial support, sales and marketing activation, business insight, partner enablement and operational excellence. It offers broad exposure across sales, marketing, operations, category management and partner development, making it an excellent entry point into HP’s commercial organization.

What you will do

Partner relationship management

  • Support the PBM in strengthening partner engagement and expanding relationships across the partner organization.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner sales teams, HP Sales Champions and other key stakeholders.

  • Act as the trusted day-to-day contact for partner questions, requests and commercial follow-up activities.

  • Proactively manage expectations and ensure clear communication, timely follow-up and reliable execution.

  • Contribute to partner satisfaction, loyalty and Ease of Doing Business with HP through a professional and service-oriented approach.

Opportunity management and commercial support

  • Support partner sales teams with product questions, pricing requests and opportunity-related inquiries.

  • Monitor pricing requests and help ensure opportunities receive the appropriate support and follow-up from HP teams.

  • Connect partner opportunities with the appropriate HP End User Sales colleagues and maintain alignment between the partner, PBM and HP sales teams.

  • Review opportunity trends and broader patterns to maintain visibility into partner business developments and identify areas requiring attention.

  • Identify attach opportunities in pricing requests and drive awareness of HP services, accessories and collaboration solutions within partner sales teams

  • Support forecasting activities and provide practical commercial insights to the PBM based on opportunity information.

  • Coordinate partner demo requests and ensure timely status communication and follow-up.

Sales and marketing activation

  • Assist partners in planning and executing HP sales and marketing activities aligned with shared business objectives and growth priorities.

  • Build awareness and engagement among partner sales teams so HP promotions and campaigns translate into commercial activity.

  • Plan, organize and support commercial activities and events to strengthen HP visibility, team connection and loyalty within the partner organization.

  • Agree follow-up actions with the PBM and relevant stakeholders to maximize the commercial impact of promotions, campaigns and events.

  • Process and track Market Development Funds (MDF), HP Champs submissions and other commercial program activities accurately and on time.

Partner enablement

  • Guide partners in the effective use of HP tools, platforms, partner programs and commercial processes.

  • Support the onboarding of new partner employees and help them connect with relevant HP teams.

  • Support partner certification activities and HP Amplify Partner Program readiness.

  • Share timely information about the HP product portfolio, services, promotions and commercial initiatives.

Operational excellence

  • Take ownership of customer support escalations by involving the right internal stakeholders and driving clear follow-up.

  • Identify recurring operational issues and contribute to process improvements that enhance Ease of Doing Business with HP.

  • Share partner feedback, market insights and best practices during business reviews and team meetings.

Qualifications and experience

  • Approximately 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sales, partner or account support, marketing, customer success, sales operations or another customer-facing commercial environment.

  • Bachelor-level thinking and working, gained through education, relevant experience or a combination of both.

  • Professional fluency in Dutch and English, as both languages are used in partner and internal communication.

  • Strong communication, planning, organization and stakeholder management skills.

  • An analytical mindset and an interest in business performance and sales trends.

  • Confidence using Microsoft 365 tools and an interest in learning HP commercial platforms and processes.

Experience in the IT industry, technology market, channel ecosystem or an international organization can be helpful, but is not required.
