Mattel is an American toy company founded in 1945 in a Los Angeles garage, and it owns some of the most valuable character franchises in the industry including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, American Girl, Masters of the Universe and Monster High. Alongside manufacturing and selling toys it has built a film and television arm to exploit those properties directly, following the commercial success of the Barbie film in 2023, and it licenses its characters into games, apparel and experiences. Headquartered in El Segundo, California and listed on Nasdaq, it competes with Hasbro and with the digital entertainment now taking children's attention.

CREATIVITY IS OUR SUPERPOWER. It’s our heritage and it’s also our future. Because we don’t just make toys. We create innovative products and experiences that inspire fans, entertain audiences and develop children through play. Mattel is at its best when every member of our team feels respected, included, and heard-when everyone can show up as themselves and do their best work every day. We value and share an infinite range of ideas and voices that evolve and broaden our perspectives with a reach that extends into all our brands, partners, and suppliers.

The Team

The Transformation team operates across the region to advance EMEA along an innovative roadmap of initiatives designed to reduce complexity, adopt new ways of working, and align all facets of supply chain planning and customer fulfilment.

We do this by delivering high-impact initiatives in EMEA, driving and embedding changes in the areas of Process, Systems and People. We act with agility and move quickly, adapting to emerging trends and seizing opportunities proactively. Our priorities are guided by and aligned with the Global Supply Chain Strategy and EMEA's ETP (European Transformation Plan).

The Opportunity:

The Sr Analyst Supply Chain Transformation & Operations Support role is based in Amstelveen (The Netherlands) and reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain Transformation.

The Sr Analyst will support one or more strategic initiatives on the Transformation Roadmap and contribute to the successful delivery of project objectives through planning, analysis, stakeholder engagement and implementation support. The role will also dedicate part of its time to supporting the wider Customer Fulfilment organization by providing analytical, coordination and continuous improvement support that increases team capacity, and improves operational performance.

The successful candidate will partner closely with Transformation and Customer Fulfilment teams to troubleshoot operational challenges, perform root cause analysis, identify sustainable process improvements and support cross-functional execution during peak business periods. This position is not intended to perform routine order management or allocation activities, but rather to strengthen operational effectiveness through analysis, coordination and problem solving. However if needed, the candidate will not shy away to be hands-on in spreadsheets or systems to help out.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Support one or more key activities on the Transformation Roadmap and contribute to delivering high-impact improvements to the business.
  • Support project planning, governance and follow-up activities to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collect and analyse business and operational data to generate insights, establish baselines and support business cases.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues in partnership with Customer Fulfilment teams and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend process improvements that simplify ways of working and improve service performance.
  • Support operational performance reviews through KPI reporting, trend analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide analytical and coordination support during peak trading periods and changing business priorities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Customer Fulfilment, Planning, Operations, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Consulting or another relevant business function.
  • Strong analytical capability with excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to identifying root causes.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and different levels of the organization.
  • Experience in supporting cross-functional projects, operational improvements or business transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment is an advantage.
  • APICS certification or equivalent is a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Gross annual salary range of EUR 65,600 - EUR 77,900 (incl. 8% holiday allowance)
  • Paid time off: 30 vacation days + 3 Mattel Days (company day off)
  • Commuting benefits: Option of public transport ticket reimbursement or mileage allowance (subject to maximum amount in the company policy)
  • Work from home allowance
  • Subsidized lunch (2,5 EUR/day)
  • Subsidized ClassPass membership (access to gym and fitness classes)
